<br />Job Description <br /> <br />Main Street Manager <br /> <br />Salary Range: $1011.54 Bi-Weekly <br />Shift: 8-5 p,m, \ Occasional Weekends\Holidays <br />Loeation: City Hall <br />Reports to: City Manager <br /> <br />Department: Main Street Project <br /> <br />Approved by: Mike Malone, City Manager <br />Date: December 2, 1997 <br /> <br />Summary: <br /> <br />Three years of responsible supervisory or managerial experience in project administration, <br />Position requires knowledge of social and cultural activities; organization skills, verbal and written <br />communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills. <br /> <br />j' <br />1\ <br /> <br />Responsibilities: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coordinates downtown organization, promotion, design and economic redevelopment <br />activities, <br />Works with local organization to focus on downtown improvements, Assist downtown <br />association, Coordinates preservation planning. <br />Coordinates promotion activities for downtown, including sales promotions, special events, <br />printed materials and heritage tourism, <br />Prepare reports and schedules, <br />Promote the Main Street Project at schools, and other community meetings, organizations <br />and events, <br />Assist tenants and property owners with building improvement projects, Works with <br />public and private sector organizations in beatification, landscaping and public <br />improvement projects, <br />Coordinates economic development programs, including analysis and monitoring, business <br />development and business recruitment.
