Our
firm has been in business in downtown Paris for the past 75 years. Programs like
Main Street are important to our survival. However, like most businesses in
downtown Paris, we have modest means to manage organizational activities of this
magnitude. Our prior experience with Main Street was positive. I attribute this to
the structure and support the Main Street program provided us.

I further support the notion to employ a public information officer who could
double as a Main Street Director. The success of the proposed program will be
contingent on a sound infrastructure and resource management.

We are concerned about the future of Paris and feel strongly that the reinstatement
of Paris as a Main Street City will be a wise investment in our future.

s;;~

Garvey House, PhD

I
.
I ':)
, I~ :a:

29 East Plaza

Paris, TX 75460

903.784.2740
