<br />.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-121 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the several departments of the City of Paris have furnished the list of personal <br />property, attached as Exhibit A to the sales contract attached hereto as Exhibit A, which no longer <br />serves a useful purpose for the City of Paris and its operation, and it would be appropriate that said <br />personal property be declared surplus property; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to dispose of said surplus property by auction duly <br />advertised and conducted by Monte Moore, Auctioneers, Texas Auctioneer License 11456, which <br />firm has heretofore been approved for use by State of Texas agencies upon the terms and conditions <br />included in the sales contract attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />personal property described in Exhibit A to the sales contract attached hereto as Exhibit A be, and <br />the same is hereby, declared to be surplus property of the City of Paris and the same may be disposed <br />of in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S, Clifford, be, <br />and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the professional <br />service contract providing for auctioneering services with Monte Moore, Auctioneers, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 9th day of October, 1997, <br /> <br /> <br />EriOS~~~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />
