During the past year Task Force Officers have assisted our Department or
occasions, not only on vehicle thefts, but other criminal offenses as well. Our Coun
approximately 1200 square miles and outside the incorporated city limits, the populi
very sparse. These remote areas in the County are often places where stolen vehicle
abandoned. Due to budget limitations and lack of manpower, our Department is no
always able to adequately follow up on tins type of investigation. The Task Force h
greatly benefitted our County and we would like to see the Motor Vehicle Task FOIl
grant renewed.

Respectfully Submitted,

p r f%A-

Robert L.
