Identify by number the <br />item being continued. <br /> <br />This sheet may also be used for any other remarks, at the applicant's option. <br /> <br />The Paris Law Enforcement Detection Apprehension Program consists of one <br />(1) Detective Sergeant and one (1) investigator whose duties consist of preventing <br />auto thefts as a visible deterrent, educating the public and other officers in ways and <br />means of detecting and preventing auto theft, investigating the cases and <br />apprehending those involved in the thefts, assisting with the prosecution of those <br />charged, and seeing that the stolen property is returned to the rightful owner. The <br />officers will continue JO spend one hundred percent (100%) of their time to <br />accomplish these tasks. <br /> <br />In attempting to assist all surrounding agencies, our Auto Theft Task Force <br />has assisted the following agencies: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1) Lamar County Tax Accessor's Office. <br />2) Lamar County District/County Attorney's Office <br />3) Clarksville Police Department <br />4) Red River County Sheriff's Department <br />5) Franklin County Sheriff's Department <br />6) Mount Pleasant Police Department <br />7) Titus County Sheriff's's Department <br />8) Sulphur Springs Police Department <br />9) Hopkins County Sheriff's Department <br />10) Delta County Sheriff's Department <br />11) Bonham Police Department <br />12) Fannin County Sheriff's Department <br />13) Camp County Sheriff's Department <br />14) Texas Department of Public Safety <br />15) East Texas Auto Theft Task Force - Tyler <br />16) Choctaw and McCurtain Counties in Oklahoma <br />17) Red River County District Attorney's Office <br />18) Grayson County <br />Our hopes is to be funded for the fourth year. <br />
