<br />RESOLUTION NO. 96-114 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in an effort to keep the tax rate as <br />low as possible, did budget in the 1996-1997 Budget funds to be generated from the sale of <br />surplus property; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lot 5-A, City Block 130 has no planned municipal use, either presently or <br />in the foreseeable future, and it is deemed appropriate that said property be declared surplus and <br />sold in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that Lot <br />5-A, City Block 130 be, and the same is hereby, declared to be surplus; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said property should be sold in accordance with <br />the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of 0776. <br /> <br />)J(~ ~ <br /> <br />Eric S, Clifford, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~~ ~~X'%OC:) <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler <br /> <br />
