MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />September 24, 2018 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />September 24, 2018, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor Pro -Tem: Derrick Hughes <br />Council Members: Renae Stone, Billy Trenado, Linda Knox, Clayton <br />Pilgrim, and Paula Portugal <br />City Staff: Carla Easton, City Engineer; Stephanie Harris, City <br />Attorney; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Bob Hundley, <br />Police Chief; Thomas McMonigle, Assistant Fire <br />Chief, Jerry McDaniel, Public Works Director; <br />Doug Harris, Utilities Director; Priscilla McAnally, <br />Library Director; Clyde Crews, Fire Marshal; <br />Absent: Mayor: Steven Clifford <br />Opening Agenda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Hughes called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />EMS Director Kent Klinkerman gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Stone led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' Forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />Consent ABenda <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Hughes inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items <br />from the consent agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent <br />agenda was made by Council Member Trenado and seconded by Council Member Portugal. <br />Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. <br />
