Objectionable, Unsightly, or Unsanitary Matter of Private Premises;" Chapter 1-6 <br />of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, TX: <br />A. 1037 6th SE; City Block 163-A, Lot 1-A <br />Owner: Dorothy Hoover, 4409 E I-40 Spc 61, Amarillo TX 79104 <br />Robert Talley stated Code Enforcement has worked this property numerous times; <br />owner lives out of town. Have not been able to tag in the past due to people <br />living there. Is vacant now, so has been tagged. No contact with owner. City <br />removed water meter due to condition of plumbing inside house. Also had <br />electrical turned off due to illegal attempts to access power from outside pole. <br />Unsecure. Collapsing in back. Inside is missing significant amount of <br />flooring. Large hole in roof. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days <br />or city has the right to do so. <br />Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Ken Kohls to accept <br />Robert's recommendation. Motion carried. 7-0. <br />B. 4145 th SW; City Block 119-B, Lot 20 <br />Owner: Clinton Burnsed, 922 FM 194, Blossom TX 75416 <br />Robert Talley stated called in by neighbors. No contact with owner. Unsecure. <br />Broken windows; roofline deteriorating. Evidence inside of roof leaking. <br />Foundation problems. Porch pulling away from house. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare nuisance, demo with 30 -days or <br />city has the right do so. <br />Commission questions: <br />Q — How long would it take to bring down this house? <br />A — About a year; we're starting to get caught up. <br />Motion was made by Sally McEwin, seconded by Mike Folmar to accept <br />Robert's recommendation. Porch beginning to fall <br />off. Foundation damage. Siding peeling off. Deterioration along roofline. <br />Trash and rubbish inside. Floor has been torn up in several spots. Roof <br />leaking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare nuisance, demo within 30 days <br />or city has right do so. <br />
