MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT <br />6780 COLLIER DRIVE <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18 2018 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1, The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Ray Ball at 5:28 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Ray Ball, Jimmy Noble, Anna Spencer and David <br />Taylor. <br />Also present: John Godwin, City Manager, Jerry Richey, Airport Manager; Lance Nicholson: <br />Engineer Technician and Triniti Frazier, Community Development Coordinator. <br />Absent member(s): Nathan Bell <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting of September 20, 2018. <br />Motion was made by Jimmy Noble and seconded by Anna Spencer. Motion carried 3-0 with <br />David Taylor abstaining. <br />3. Discussion regarding delinquent hangar rentals. <br />Triniti Frazier, City staff reported the following delinquent hangar rentals in the 60-90 day <br />range are: Stacy Cunningham for $30.39 and Cody Stephens for $135.00. The City <br />Attorney's office will mail a delinquent notice to them. <br />4. Discussion regarding feasibility of building private hangars. <br />Ray Ball states he intended to bring an article he read in Flight magazine on the pros and <br />cons of private hangars. He will bring it to the next meeting. <br />John Godwin states Colin Marino's hangar was approved by Council last month but he has <br />not executed an agreement. He has been working with his contractor for a couple months. He <br />hasn't submitted plans yet. Lance Nicholson states Marino has been working with HWH. <br />Ray Ball asked if the other two that were interested in hangars moving forward at all? <br />Jerry Richey states that Earl is waiting to see how this deal goes with Marino. Richey states <br />that Whitlock, the crop dusters are pretty much out. They are probably going to build over in <br />Bonham. Richey states we a have new person, Bill Whitaker that is talking about building a <br />hangar on the back row where it is a better location. He is working on getting a survey done. <br />
