Paris Visitors & Convention Council <br />Board of Directors Meeting <br />October 15, 2018 at 4:00 pm <br />Members Preseint: Lisa Walker, Brenda Wells, Jeff Nutt, Bryan Hargis, Mark Pankaj, Renee Harvey, Chadle,e <br />Johnston, Josh Bray, Bryan Glass, Casey Ressler, Trey Glascock and Dustin Broadway. <br />Staff Present: Paul Allen and Becky Semple. <br />Lisa Walker called the meeting to order at 4:�01 pm. <br />Lisa Walker introduced the new board members, Casey Ressler, Trey Glascock and Dustin Broadway. <br />Minutes...... The board was given a few minutes to read the September minutes, A motion to approve was made <br />by Casey Ressler, seconded by Trey Glascock. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials were presented by Bryan Glass, a motion to approve the financials was made by Casey Ressler, <br />seconded by Mark Pankaj. Motion passed unanimously, <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for Texas Stampede. They asked for $2500.00. Based on the scoring <br />system in place a motion to approve $1430 was made by Casey Ressler, seconded by Trey Glascock. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for the Paris Basketball Tournament. They asked for $2500.00. After <br />much discussion of them bringing in more teams this year, a motion to approve $2500 was made by Chadlee <br />Johnston, seconded by Mark Pankaj. Motion passed unanimously. <br />There was a discussion about new possible events such as, Dragon Boats and Drone races. <br />Casey Ressler gave a report on the Pump track, he also talked about the event in Arkansas on what he saw and <br />experienced. More discussion coming about future events at pump track. <br />Discussion item for next meeting, Casey Ressler and Bryan Hargis will research cost and possibilities of a timing <br />device for racing events. <br />Motion to adjourn at 4:31. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
