RESOLUTION NO. 96-065 WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore in Resolution No. 95-102, on September II, 1995, accept the Texas Recreation & Parks Account Program grant for the Paris Municipal Pool Project Number 50-00060 through the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department which required the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction of a municipal swimming pool; and, WHEREAS, the City Council, did heretofore in Resolution No. 96-031, on April 8, 1996, approve plans and specifications prepared by C. T. Brannon Corporation, with the title being given thereto of "PARIS AQUA TIC CENTER" project No. 40-43-98-0950- 1996; and, WHEREAS, the City Council, did in Resolution No. 96-031, authorize said construction project to be advertised for bids to be received until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 1996, at which time no bids were received and such project should be readvertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the "PARIS AQUA TIC CENTER" Project No. 40-43-98-095-1996 be advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 1996, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 15th day of July, 1996, for the purpose of letting such bid.
