Item No. 19 <br />memorandum <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />John Godwin, City Manager <br />FROM: Janice Ellis, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: APPOINTMENTS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />DATE: November 15, 2018 <br />BACKGROUND: Policies and Procedures for Boards, Commissions, and Committees adopted <br />by City Council require that appointments be made at the second regular City Council meeting in <br />June. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: In September 2018, Tim Marks and Daniel Roach resigned leaving the <br />two vacancies on Airport Advisory Board. Both vacant positions have a term that expires June <br />30, 2020. <br />City staff advertised for the vacancies through the Paris News, E -Paris Extra, the City's web -site <br />and radio stations. Applications were received from David Gibo, Scott Avery, and Brad Meyers. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint two members to fill the vacant positions on the Airport <br />Advisory Board. <br />
