Paris Visitors & Convention Council <br />Board of Directors Meeting <br />November 19, 2018 at 4:00 pm <br />Members Present: Jeff Nutt, Bryan Hargis, Dr, Linda Kapp, Tony Corso, Renee Harvey, Jack Neal, James Wyatt, <br />Charley Lewis, Bryan Glass, Casey Ressler, Trey Glascock and Dustin Broadway. <br />Staff Present: Gina Crawford and Becky Semple. <br />Dr, Linda Kapp called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />There were not guests. <br />Minutes .... ..The board wasgiven a few minutes to read the October minutes. A motion to approve was made by <br />Casey Ressler, seconded by Trey Glascock. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials were presented by Bryan Glass, a motion to approve the, financials was made by Tony Corso, seconded <br />by Casey Ressler. Motion passed unanimously. Bryan Glass stated that we need to be mindful of the VCC money <br />and make sure we are staying in budget for the entire year. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for Red River Quilt Guild. They asked for $2500,00. Based on the <br />scoring system in place a motion to approve $1200 was made by Casey Ressler, seconded by Tony Corso. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for the Goldwing Road Riders Association Texas District Meeting. They <br />asked for $2500.00, Based on the scoring system in place a motion to approve $1800 was made by Charley Lewis, <br />seconded by Casey Ressler. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request for the Red River Veteran's Northeast Texas Car Show. They asked for <br />$2500.00. Based on the scoring system in place a motion to approve $1000 was made by Charley Lewis, seconded <br />by Jack Neal. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Jeff Nutt asked for Becky Semple to present the last three years' worth of funding of the same event. The <br />committee also asked for the final evaluation of the scoring sheet to be included in the packets. <br />Randy Nation stated the engine in the trolley has blown, We received one bid and will try to get another bid to <br />replace the engine. <br />Motion to adjourn at 5:12. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
