Others in attendance were Mrs. Gina Prestridge and Ms. Cheryl King. Not in attendance was Dr. Eric <br />Salzman. <br />Mr. Collins called the meeting to order in open session at 5:34 p.m. <br />Mr. Bill Collins made the motion to approve minutes from prior meeting and was seconded by Mrs. Connie Stauter. Motion carried, 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mrs. Prestridge advised that the grant year ended on 08131 and we ended with a positive balance. Dr. Marc White made the motion <br />to approve the 2018-2019 budget as presented and was seconded by Dr. Jay Carpenter. Motion carried, 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mrs. Prestridge advised that we had a public information request about food poison, however a complaint was never filed so we had <br />no information. <br />Mrs. Prestridge advised the board on the following monthly report(s): <br />• August reports — <br />o WIC served 1,202 clients and 107 drive thru clients <br />o Health Department served 748 clinical clients <br />o Inspected 10 restaurants, 15 routine inspections, and 7 complaints <br />o Inspected 6 septic systems and 1 complaint, and <br />0 0 rabies cases were reported. <br />• Total liability and equity is approximately $1,257,311.00. <br />The next regular meeting will be on or before October 19th, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. at the Paris -Lamar County Health District. <br />Business to be discussed and possibly action taken on at next meeting: n/a <br />Mrs. Stauter made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Jay Carpenter for the meeting to be adjourned at 5.50 p.m. Motion carried, <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Respectfully submitted by: <br />CL r 12. -zing <br />Approval motion made by Dr. Williams and seconded by Dr. Salzman at the November 19th, 2018 meeting. <br />Motion carried, 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />NOTE: Filed with City Clerk, City Annex and at Paris -Lamar County Health District.
