<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />95-125 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of <br />November, 1995, in Ordinance No. 95-053, call a special election for the purpose of affording <br />the voters of the City of Paris the opportunity to vote for or against proposed amendments to <br />the Charter of the City of Paris, said election to be held on the third Saturday in January, 1996, <br />same being the 20th day of January, 1996; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for early voting and to designate the hours, <br />polling places and election officials for such election; NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the special election for the purpose of affording the voters of the City <br />of Paris the opportunity to vote for or against proposed amendments to the Charter of the City <br />of Paris, to be held on January 20, 1996, called by the City Council of the City of Paris in <br />Ordinance No. 95-053, passed on the 13th day of November, 1995, be held by the qualified <br />voters of all seven (7) districts of the City of Paris between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and <br />7:00 o'clock P.M. on said date. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the polling places and election officials of such election shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />District One (1): <br /> <br />Polling Place: <br /> <br />City of Paris Public Works Building <br />50 West Hickory <br /> <br />Officials: <br /> <br />Edith Bills, Presiding Judge <br />Frankie Dangerfield, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />District Two (2): <br /> <br />Polling Place: <br /> <br />City of Paris Police & Courts Building <br />811 Bonham Street <br /> <br />Officials: <br /> <br />Veola Bradford, Presiding Judge <br />Clabon Steward, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />District Three (3): <br /> <br />Polling Place: <br /> <br />Thomas S. Justiss School <br />401 18th Street N.W. <br /> <br />Officials: <br /> <br />Bettv Hanna, Presiding Judge <br />Sue Gurley, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />District Four (4): <br />
