<br />RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />95-107 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented <br />Policing Services provides funding for COPS Universal Hiring Program grants; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous of processing <br />a grant application for the COPS Universal Hiring Program; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris did execute an application <br />on August 24, 1995, which execution should be in all things ratified; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br /> <br />I. That the application made to the U. S. Department of Justice, Office <br />of Community Oriented Policing Services for a COPS Universal Hiring Program <br />grant in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby ratified and the form of <br />such application is approved. <br /> <br />2. That Michael E. Malone, City Manager of the City of Paris, be, and <br />he is hereby appointed as the Authorized Official of said project and his execution <br />of the application for said grant in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A on the 24th <br />day of August, 1995, is hereby ratified. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />Eric S.
