<br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-74 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris <br />that there is a portion of a street that begins at the South Boundary Line of the Missouri & <br />Pacific Railroad Right-of-Way and runs south a distance of approximately 520 feet, known as <br />1st Street S.W., more particularly described on Exhibit A, attached hereto; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the street is <br />not desired by the property owners adjacent to said street, but that said street is of use and <br />necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for drainage and utility easement purposes; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that <br />the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed <br />to execute special warranty deeds to the street being closed to the adjacent owners on either side <br />of said street, it appearing that the real and true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />PI. Lot I, City Block 170 <br />PI. Lot I, City Block 170 <br />Lot 2, City Block 170 <br />Lot 3, City Block 170 <br /> <br />Archer Daniels Midland Company <br />Consolidated Nutrition <br />Rodgers-Wade Manufacturing Company <br />Consolidated Nutrition <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain drainage and utility <br />easements in the area to be described in the above described special warranty deeds. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />Eric S.
