4. Discussion and action was taken on a fagade grant for 127 Lamar Avenue. <br />A motion was made to approve a $2500 fagade grant to Mrs Emmite for the <br />rehabilitation of the fagade of 127 Lamar by Commissioner Vandiver, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hider, Motion carried- Unanimous <br />A motion was made to return Commissioner Emmite back to the commission by <br />Commissioner Hider, seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, motion carried. <br />5. The commission reviewed buildings or structures located at A. 1575 NE 30 & B. 420 NW <br />14a'. A motion was made determining these structures cannot be rehabilitated and designated <br />on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as <br />historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris by Commissioner <br />Coyle, seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, motion carried unanimously. <br />6. HPO report Cheri Bedford gave a report: <br />• In-house approved certificates of appropriateness. <br />• Imagine the Possibilities tours logistics- a subcommittee is organized to develop the <br />Imagine the Possibilities tour with more partners. A planning date was set for April 4, <br />2019 at 4:00p. m. and the commission members include Mike Lazar, Matt Coyle, Linda <br />Vandiver, and Glee Emmite. Commissioner Coyle also suggested we reach out to other <br />partners such as the chamber or realtors and maybe the small business development <br />center. <br />• Historic neighborhood outreach brochure -e subcommittee set a planning date the <br />following commission members are included: Randy Hider, Glee Emmite and Linda <br />Vandiver. The will meet on Monday March 18 at 11: 00 a.m. <br />• The commissioners also discussed the Historic Marker for Bywater Park, the Paris <br />Public Library, and the Market Square Farmers Market. The commissioners agreed <br />they should pursue this designation <br />• Commissioner Coyle requested the Crockett Socrates Students led by Debb Flemming <br />come and share their project on historic markers in downtown at our next meeting - <br />Cheri will contact them to see if they can attend. <br />7. Hearing no other items commissioner Dux called for a motion to adjourn at 4:50 p.m. <br />Commissioner Coyle made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Lazar motion carried. <br />� 019 <br />
