Utilities Director Doug Harris said the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required five year updates to the Drought Contingency/Water Conversation Plans, and the last update was in 2014. A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member Knox and seconded by Council Member Portugal. Motion carried, 5 ayes — 0 nays. 10. Discuss and provide direction to city attorney regarding sale of Belford Apartment Building (260 S. Main Street) sheriff s sale. City Attorney Stephanie Harris said the City had a judgment against Boomer Trends Magazine, owner of the Belford Apartments building and the property was auctioned at a sheriffs sale on April 2. Ms. Harris also said no bids were received on the property, and she was seeking direction with regard to a possible second sheriffs sale of the property. Following discussion by the City Council, it was a consensus of the City Council that the property be sent to a second sheriff s sale in May, with the exact same stipulations on the property as the April 2 auction. 11. Convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, (1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, as follows: annual evaluation of the city manager. Mayor Clifford convened City Council into executive session at 5:42 p.m. 12. Reconvene into open session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in executive session. Mayor Clifford reconvened City Council into open session at 7:05 p.m. 13. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-081. Council Member Knox inquired about a date for the council retreat. City Clerk Janice Ellis said they did not have a date, because she had only heard from two Council Members. 14. Adjournment. There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Mayor Clifford and was seconded by Council Members Knox and Portugal. Motion carried, 5 ayes — 0 nays. The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
