<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-138 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in <br />Resolution No. 94-021 authorize an application to be made to the Office of the <br />Governor of the State of Texas through its Criminal Justice Division for the Crime <br />Prevention Program grant; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Office of the Governor of the State of Texas has issued its <br />Grant A ward, entitled, "CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAM, GRANT NUMBER <br />SF-95-SOl-07685" for the year beginning October I, 1994, ending September 30, <br />1995, in the total amount of $9,075.00 requiring matching contribution of <br />$36,306.00; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, acceptance of the same must occur within thirty (30) days of the <br />date of said award which occurred on September 21, 1994; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that <br />the City of Paris accept said Grant Award and continue to improve the crime <br />prevention program in the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OJ<' THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
