<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-136 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution <br />No. 93-064, award the contract for RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM <br />PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY OF PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA <br />Project No. 08-01-02814 to KENCO, INC.; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer of said <br />project, recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. Four attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of $15,881.20 <br />for a total of $3,700,080.00 for Modifications to intake walkway support brackets due to <br />deteriorated condition of existing intake concrete from weathering, and such form should <br />be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that <br />the RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY <br />OF PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA Project No. 08-01-02814 contract <br />is hereby amended by Change Order No. }'our attached hereto as Exhibit" A" , providing <br />for a net increase in contract price of $15,881.20 for a total of $3,700,080.00 for <br />Modifications to intake walkway support brackets due to deteriorated condition of existing <br />intake concrete from weathering, which is in all things approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Don Shelton, <br />be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said <br />Change Order No. Four. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1994. <br /> <br />tk~ <br /> <br />Don Shelton, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~ <br />~'>...\..",\. <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cle <br /> <br />A~d::' <br />
