Easton states staff is proposing to amend the subdivision regulations with requirements <br />for the construction of sidewalks with all new development and substantial <br />redevelopment projects. This was identified on the ADA transition plan as part of our <br />ordinance that we needed to amend. Commissioners reviewed and discussed the draft <br />ordinance. <br />Public hearing was declared open. With no one speaking, the public hearing was declared <br />closed. <br />Motion was made by Rick Hundley, seconded by Mihir Pankaj to approve this item. <br />Motion carried 4-3 with Lee, Sims and Flowers in opposition. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the Preliminary Plat of Lots 1, 2, 3, Block (CB 186) of <br />the Paris Pregnancy Care Addition, located at 425 E Houston. <br />Easton states Paris Pregnancy Care Center Inc. owns Lot 1 of City of Paris Block 186 <br />located at 425 E Houston St. They are proposing to acquire a portion of the adjacent lots <br />in order to develop an office building to support the main office located across the street <br />at 500 E Houston. The owner has submitted a preliminary and final plat, which <br />establishes a new lot line to the west and to the north. The lot north will not meet the <br />minimum lot depth prescribed by Section 9 of the Zoning Ordinance and will require a <br />variance before proceeding. Easton's recommendation is to approve the preliminary and <br />final plat subject to approval of a variance for Lot 3 by the Board of Adjustment. <br />Motion was made by Keith Flowers, seconded by Mihir Pankaj to approve this item with <br />City Engineer recommendations. Motion carried 7-0. <br />8. Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Lots 1, 2, 3, Block (CB 186) of the <br />Paris Pregnancy Care Addition, located at 425 E Houston. <br />Easton states this is same plat with the same comments. <br />Motion was made by Keith Flowers, seconded by John Lee to approve this item with City <br />Engineer recommendations. Motion carried 7-0. <br />
