<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-101 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation provides funding for Statewide <br />Transportation Enhancement Program grants; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is desirous of processing an <br />application for the Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program grant for the PLUM <br />STREET 1900 BLOCK SURFACE WATER RUNOFF POLLUTION AND FLOOD <br />MITIGATION PROJECT at a total cost of $214,000.00, with $171,200.00 to be provided by <br />grant and $42,800.00 to be provided by the City of Paris in the form of local funds and in kind <br />services; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OJ' THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />I. That an application be made to the Texas Department of Transportation for a <br />Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program grant for the PLUM STREET 1900 <br />BLOCK SURFACE WATER RUNOFF POLLUTION AND FLOOD MITIGATION <br />PROJECT in the amount of $171 ,200.00, being approximately 80 % of the estimated cost of the <br />transportation enhancement project, with the City of Paris providing $42,800.00 in kind services <br />and funds. <br /> <br />2. That Michael E. Malone, City Manager of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby, <br />appointed as the Authorized Official of said project and is authorized and directed to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Paris the application for grant in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />3. That Earl Smith, City Engineer, be, and he is hereby, appointed as Project <br />Director and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver on behalf of the City of Paris all <br />reports, communications, assurances and documents necessary for the completion of said project. <br /> <br />4. That W. E. Anderson, Director of Finance, be, and he is hereby, authorized and <br />directed to serve as the Financial Officer for said project and to receive and distribute funds for <br />the PLUM STREET 1900 BLOCK SURJ'ACE WATER RUNOFF POLLUTION AND <br />FLOOD MITIGATION PROJECT. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />Eric S.
