<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />93-072 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Joe Miesch, <br />Powell, Michael Rhodes, Laurie Gullion, Ed Ellis, Dr. <br />Black, F. I. McClanahan and Wanda Compton as member s of <br />Historic Landmark Preservation Committee of the City <br />Paris, will expire on June 30, 1993; and, <br /> <br />Rick <br />Don <br />the <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, <br />does hereby recommend the re-appointments of Joe Miesch, as <br />a member of the board of directors of a local financial <br />institution; Rick Powell as a member with nursery and/or <br />landscape interest; Michael Rhodes, a member of the Visitors <br />and Convent ion Counc i 1 of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar <br />County; Ed Ellis as a member of the Lamar County Bar <br />Association; and F. I. McClanahan as member at large, and <br />the appointments of William E. Cupit as a Realtor, and Patsy <br />Daniels as a member of the Lamar County Genealogy Society, <br />and Flo Brunett as member at large, for a term of two (2) <br />years, beginning July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1995; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of <br />the Historic Landmark Preservation Committee due to the <br />resignation of JoAnn Parkman, whose term expires on June 30, <br />1994, and it is necessary to appoint her successor, and the <br />Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, having appointed <br />Donald G. Wilson, representing the Industrial Development <br />Commission, the serve the unexpired term of JoAnn Parkman <br />which ends June 30, 1994, and has submitted the name of such <br />person to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the re-appointments of Joe Miesch, as <br />a member of the board of directors of a local financial <br />institution; Rick Powell as a member with nursery and/or <br />landscape interest; Michael Rhodes, a member of the Visitors <br />and Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar <br />County; Ed Ellis as a member of the Lamar County Bar <br />Association; and F. I. McClanahan as member at large, and <br />the appointments of William E.
