Approve minutes from the meetings of June 17, June 24, and June 26, 2019. <br />6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards and commissions: <br />(a) Board of Adjustment (1-8-2019 & 6-4-2019) <br />(b) Paris Public Library Advisory Board (5-15-2019) <br />(c) Housing Authority (5-21-2019) <br />(d) Traffic Commission (3-5-2019) <br />& ular A Benda <br />7. Receive presentation from the Sulphur River Basin Authority by SRBA Vice -President <br />Wally Kraft. <br />Dr. Wally Kraft suggested that at some point the City invest in the SRBA to build several <br />small lakes or one large lake along the Sulphur River. He estimated the investment would be <br />$8,000 to $10,000, and said that Northeast Texas would retain 20% of all water in any future <br />reservoirs built along the Sulphur River. Dr. Kraft also said if we did not use the water, we could <br />sell it. Dr. Kraft said he would be coming back to the City at a later date. <br />8. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government <br />Code, (1) to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, <br />discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, as follows: evaluation of the city <br />manager. <br />Mayor Clifford convened City Council into executive session at 5:38 p.m. <br />9. Reconvene into open session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in <br />executive session. <br />Mayor Clifford reconvened City Council into open session at 8:01 p.m. and said there <br />was no action. <br />10. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081. <br />Council Member Knox told everyone about the Habitat for Humanity Operation <br />Kindness scheduled for September 28. Council Member Portugal said they needed help with <br />painting a blue house located at 1509 Tudor. <br />
