RESOLUTION NO. 93-091 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris in keeping with its commitment to make every effort available to comply with the Texas Department of Health's requirements, did heretofore enter into a Landfill Service Contract with Barney Bray, III, dba B & B Equipment Company, Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, in such contract, the City was granted the option for two additional ten (10) year terms, and in order to exercise the first 10 year option, it is necessary to give notice of the exercise of same; and, WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City of Paris to exercise the option for the first ten (10) term; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the option for the first ten (10) year term granted in the Landfill Service Contract granting the City of Paris an option for an additional 10 years beginning October I, 1993 and ending September 30, 2003, be and the same is hereby exercised by delivery of a certified copy of this resolution to Barney Bray, III; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that of Paris, Mattie Cunningham, be, to transmit a certified copy of Bray, III. the City Clerk of the City and she is hereby directed this resolution to Barney Passed and adopted this 13th day of September, 1993.
