Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, <br />or city has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />B. 834 W Cherry; Martin Block Addition Block 2, Lot 15 & 16 <br />Owner: Mae Blankinship Spann, 834 W Cherry, Paris TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated no contact with owner. Code Enforcement has mowed and <br />cleaned up over the past several years. Received numerous complaints regarding <br />squatters. Unsecure. Inside is stripped of wiring; holes in floor; roof leaking, <br />evidence of mold. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, <br />or city has right to do so. <br />Discussion: <br />Steps may be removed if hollow; if solid, probably not. <br />Code Enforcement will attempt to secure property. <br />May be able to move up on demo list. <br />Structure in back will go as well; attached carport. <br />Motion made by SallyMcEwin, seconded by Ken Kohls to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation.
