Parrs Visitors &Convention Council _Board ITof Directors Meeting <br />June 17, 2019 <br />Members Present: Chad Johnston, Trey Glascock, Ryan Whitaker, Bryan Glass, Bryan Hargis, Renee <br />Harvey, Jeff Nutt, Mark Pankaj, Dustin Broadway, James Wyatt, Casey Ressler and Dr. Linda Kapp. <br />Staff Present: Paul Allen, Becky Semple, and Gina Crawford <br />Chad Johnston, Chairman called the meeting to order at 4:01 pm. <br />_Minutes:_A motion to approve May minutes was made by Casey Ressler, seconded by Mihir Pankaj. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials were presented by Bryan Glass and a motion to approve financials was made by Casey Ressler <br />and seconded by Trey Glascock. Motion passed unanimously. <br />New Business: Becky Semple presented a funding request for City of Paris Main Street Texas Historical <br />Commission, July 16th —19th, 2019. They only asked for $500 to help feed a lunch. A motion to approve <br />$500 was made by Mihir Pankaj, seconded by Bryan Hargis. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request from Bug Tussle Antique Trek Antique Car Annual Meet on <br />August 24th and 25th. Based on the scoring system in place a motion to approve $1000 was made by <br />Casey Ressler, seconded by James Wyatt. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented that we help Barber Hill Mountain Bike race that was held June 15th. They are <br />very excited about this event growing and are planning to have a two-day race in October. A motion to <br />approve $700 from non -hot was made by Dustin Broadway, seconded by Mihir Pankaj. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />President's Rg ort Paul stated that the Trail Racing Across Texas will be hosting a race September 191h <br />and 20th, 2020. <br />Directors Repo : Becky Semple stated that the Cushman Scooter group loved Paris and was a great <br />success, the SDBA Boat Races had 700 room nights. <br />Old Business: None. <br />Future Business: None. <br />Adiourn: Mihir Pankaj made a motion to adjourn. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:29 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
