Paris Public Library Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 17, 2019 <br />Opening: <br />The regular meeting of the Paris Public Library Advisory Board was called to order at 4:03 p.m. by Chairwoman Carol <br />James. <br />Present: <br />Board members present were Carol James, Christina Schock, Ashley Lassiter, Rebecca Umphrey and Denise Kornegay, <br />Director Priscilla McAnally was also present. Marilyn Threadgill and Melanie Loughmiller were absent. <br />• Approval of Minutes: <br />The minutes of the June 19, 2019 meeting were unanimously approved. <br />• New Business: <br />Slate of officers was presented by Christina Schock and unanimously approved: Carol James, Chair, <br />Denise Kornegay, Vice -Chair, Ashley Lassiter, Secretary. <br />• Old Business: <br />None <br />• Presentations: <br />• Budget Report was presented for review with no comments. <br />• Statistical Report was presented with no comments. <br />• Friends of the Library: <br />No report <br />• Director's Remarks: <br />Director reported that the City plans to build a deck with benches at the back of the library. The benches will <br />be paid for by Friends of the Library. <br />The next meeting will August 21, 2019 at 4:OOpm. <br />Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br />Submitted by <br />Ashley Lassiter, Secretary <br />
