<br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT REVIEW AND APPROVAL <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS ) <br /> <br />COUNTY OF FANNIN ) <br /> <br />This Agreement is entered into by and between the County of <br />Fannin, a political subdivision of the state of Texas, hereinafter <br />referred to as "County" and the City of Paris, a municipal <br />corporation situated in Lamar County, Texas, hereinafter called <br />"City", pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Art. 4413 <br />(32C), Tex. Rev. Civ. stat. (Vernon's 1976). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City wish to participate in the <br />Texas Narcotics Control Program (TNCP), and to file a joint grant <br />application with the Criminal Justice Division of the State of <br />00 <br />Texas, for funding in the amount of $ S;;.o/ 3'1.;1., - for the <br />period to commence June 1, 1993, and to continue twelve months as <br />Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City have agreed to contribute <br />toward 25 percent of the grant award in matching funds if said <br />joint application is approved; and <br />WHEREAS, the source of funds would not normally be used for <br />this purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City believe it to be in their <br />best interests to join in the application to develop a Regional <br />Controlled Substance Apprehension Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City agree to each accept the <br />responsibility to adhere to all pertinent federal, state, and local <br />laws or regulations. <br />
