C. 448 6th NE; City Block 64, Lot 1 <br />Owner: Joseph Edwards, 448 6" NE, Paris TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated shed only, not main structure. Shed has collapsed. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Demo shed only. Declare a nuisance, <br />demo within 30 days, or city has right to do so. <br />Brenda Edwards, owner's daughter. Would like to have up to 5 weeks to go <br />through items in shed. Have a tractor on the property that will be used to demo <br />the shed. <br />Discussion: <br />Requires demo permit. <br />Motion made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Ben Vaughan to allow 60 days. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />B. 435 6th NE; City Block 61, Lot 23 <br />Owner: Gracie Johnson, 1208 14th NE, Paris TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated looks like someone has tried to steal wiring. Unsecure. <br />Hole in roof, broken windows. Foundation damage in back; bottom plate is <br />broken and blocks are collapsing. Trash and rubbish in back. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Robert Talley's amended recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within <br />60 days, or city has right to do so. <br />Gracie Johnson — This is rent house. Has cleaned up most of property. Plan to <br />repair house, including roof and repairing foundation. Requesting 60 days to <br />make repairs. <br />Discussion: <br />Concern is that what's exposed is rotting. Concern that without taking it down <br />to the frame, no way to know condition of the rest of the wood/foundation. Feel <br />it would be unsafe as rental property. <br />Motion made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Sally McEwin to accept Robert <br />Talley's amended recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 5-0 <br />A. 643 0' NW; City Block 89A, Lot 9 <br />Owner: Eddie Herman Burns, 643 4th NW, Paris TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated no contact with owner. Appears repairs were started, but <br />have stopped. Roof covering beginning to peel up, was put directly onto tarp. <br />
