<br />RESOLUTION NO, 93-020
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
<br />made aware of the fact that Lots 12 and 13 of Smith 2nd
<br />Addition, Lots 16 and 17, City Block 25l-A, and Lots 3 and
<br />11, City Block 25l-A, within the corporate limits of the City
<br />of Paris, have a zoning classification of Light Industrial;
<br />and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
<br />citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed
<br />by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
<br />and in the event that the same should be changed to a Public
<br />Lands and Institution District (PLI) classification that such
<br />recommendation should be made to the City Council for final
<br />action; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
<br />be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5: 30
<br />o'clock P,M" in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas, on the 5th day of April, 1993 and before the City
<br />Council at 6:00 o'clock P.M, on the 8th day of April, 1993;
<br />NOW THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lots 12 and 13,
<br />Smith 2nd Addition, Lots 16 and 17, City Block 25l-A, and
<br />Lots 3 and 11, City Block 25l-A, be, and the same is hereby
<br />referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />Paris for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of
<br />the same; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by
<br />and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />Paris at 5:30 o'clock P,M" in the City Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of April, 1993, and a
<br />public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the
<br />City of Paris at 6:00 o'clock P,M. in the Council Room, City
<br />Hall, Paris, Texas on the 8th day of April, 1993, said public
<br />hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said
<br />property,
