10. Discuss and act on an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of a solid waste collection <br />permit to Dumpster Drop, LLC. <br />11. Discuss and provide direction to staff on a request for creating a safe zone at local hotels <br />in the City of Paris, Texas. <br />12. Discuss and act on a Resolution approving the continued receipt of a statutory share of <br />bingo prize fees collected on charitable bingo activity that occurs within the City; and <br />directing that the Texas Lottery Commission shall be promptly provided a true and <br />correct copy of this Resolution upon adoption. <br />13. Appoint one member to the Library Advisory Board to fill the unexpired term of <br />Christina Schock. <br />14. Discuss and act on meeting dates for November and December. <br />15. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to: <br />a. Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code, (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding <br />commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a <br />business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in <br />or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body <br />is conducting economic development negotiations; or (2) to deliberate the offer of a <br />financial or other incentive to a business prospect described by Subdivision (1), as <br />follows: T&K Machine (Aequis) tax abatement. <br />b. Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code, to deliberate the evaluation of a <br />public officer or employee as follows: interim city manager/finance director. <br />16. Reconvene into Open Session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in <br />Executive Session. <br />17. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081. <br />18.
