RESOLUTION NO. 92-052 JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 92-002 WHEREAS, the property located in the 1400 block of 11th Street N.E., being Lot 18, Block P, East Park Addition became the proper ty of the taxing ent i ties February 4, 1992, as a result of a Sheriff's Sale for delinquent taxes; and, WHEREAS, there is no known municipal use for the same, and it would be r igh t and proper to declare the same to be surplus property; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris and Lamar County Appraisal District Board of Directors have received a bid for said Lot 18, Block P, East Park Addition in the amount of $550.01 from Louis Yates and Beverly J. Yates; and, WHEREAS, a joint Deed subject to any ritht of redemption should be prepared conveying the property rom the City of Paris, County of Lamar, Paris Junior College and the Paris Independent School District to Louis Yates and Beverly J. Yates; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF PARIS JUNIOR COLLEGE AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, that Lot 18, Block P, East Park Addition located in the 1400 block of 11th Street N.E., be, and it is hereby declared to be surplus property and the same may be disposed of in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the bid in the amount of $550.01 by Louis Yates and Beverly J. Yates for Lot 18, Block P, East Park Addition be accepted; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, George Fisher on behalf of the City of Paris, Judge Deane A. Loughmiller, on behalf of the County of Lamar, Daon Wall, President of the Board of Regents on behalf of Paris Junior College and John Wright, President of the Board of Trustees on behalf of the Paris Independent School District; be, and they are hereby authorized to sign a Deed conveying said Lot 18, Block P, East Park Addition to Louis Yates and Beverly J.
