<br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-054 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the <br />City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley, <br />running between Paris Boulevard and Neagle Avenue; BEGINNING <br />at the South Boundary Line of Paris Boulevard and the <br />Northeast corner of Lot 12, Block 4, Neagle Addition; Thence <br />South 300 feet along the East Boundary Line of Lots 12, 11, <br />10, 9, 8 and 7 of Block 4; Thence East with the North <br />Boundary Line of Neagle Avenue 60 feet to the Southwest <br />corner of Lot 6, Block 5, Neagle Addition; THence North 300 <br />feet along the West Boundary Line's of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and <br />1 of Block 5, Neagle Addition to the Northwest corner of said <br />Lot 1, also being in the South Boundary Line of Paris <br />Boulevard; Thence West 60 feet with the said South Boundary <br />Line to the place of beginning; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the <br />City Council that the alley is not desired by the property <br />owners adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use <br />and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for <br />utility and drainage easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, <br />be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a Special Warranty <br />Deed to the alley being closed to the adjacent owners on <br />either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and <br />true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows: <br /> <br />Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 4, <br />Neagle Addition <br /> <br />R. J. Brannan <br /> <br />E50' Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 4 <br />Neagle Addition Eddie Baker <br /> <br />Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 5 <br />Neagle Addition <br /> <br />Mrs. Bryan Denney <br /> <br />Lots 4, 5, and 6, Block 5 <br />Neagle Addition <br /> <br />Larry B. Melvin, Sr. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain a <br />utility and drainage easement in the area to be described in <br />the above described quit claim deeds. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of July, 1992. <br /> <br />~ ~ <br /> <br />'tf~her, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />
