MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />October 14, 2019 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />October 14, 2019, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufinan, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor Pro -Tem: Paula Portugal <br />Council Members: Renae Stone; Linda Knox; and Clayton Pilgrim <br />City Staff: Gene Anderson, Interim City Manager/Finance <br />Director; Stephanie Harris, City Attorney; Janice <br />Ellis, City Clerk; Bob Hundley, Police Chief; <br />Thomas McMonagle, Interim Fire Chief; Kent <br />Klinkerman, EMS Director; Doug Harris,, Utilities <br />Director;' Jerry McDaniel, Public *Works Director, <br />Carla Easton, City Engineer; Priscilla McAnally, <br />Library Director; and Clyde Crews, Fire Marshal <br />Absent: Council Members: Steve Clifford; Derrick Hughes; and BillyxTrenado <br />O enn A ends <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor -Pro Tem Portugal called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Portugal led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />Dena Nicholson, 6490 Pine Mill Road — she referenced the September 9 city council <br />meeting and said Chief Hundley was instructed to bring an ordinance forward. With regard to <br />item 11, Ms. Nicholson favored an ordinance instead of Chief Hundley's suggestions. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Portugal inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items <br />from the consent agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent <br />
