Criminal Justice Division GRANTEE ACCEPTANCE NOTICE AGREEMENT: That whereas Citv of Pari s hereinafter referred to as Grantee, has heretofore submitted a grant application to the Governor's Office, State of Texas, entitled Reglonal Control Substance Apprehension Proqram/6 and further identified by grant number DB-92-B02-5066 Whereas, the Governor of the State of Texas has approved the fant application as evidenced by the Statement of Grant A ward from the Governor's Office dated MA 1 199? which contained certain special requirements. Whereas, the Grantee desires to accept the grant award, the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards, and special requirements as evidenced by the Statement of Grant A ward, Now, therefore, the Grantee accepts the aforementioned Statement of Grant Award, the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards and special requirements in the grant application and the Statement of Grant Award as evidenced by this agreement executed by the project director, financial officer,. and the official authorized to sign the original grant application, or the official's successor, as presiding officer of and on behalf of the governing body of this grantee. Now, therefore, the Grantee shall designate either the project director or financial officer to coordinate and be solely responsible for submission of adjustments pertaining to both programs and fmancial elements of the application, the position authorized to submit adjustments is FINAHCIAL OFFICER NON-LOBBYING CERTIFICATION: We, the undersigned, certify that none of the grant funds, regardless of their source or character, including local cash assumption of cost funds, shaH be used in any manner to influence the outcome of any election or the passage or defeat of any legislative measure. A fmding that a grantee has violated this certification shaH result in the immediate termination of funding of the project and the grantee shaH not be eligible for future funding from the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division.
