<br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-014 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has <br />heretofore approved capital improvements to be funded by <br />Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1992; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of <br />the City of Paris to get the best bid upon the sale of said <br />bonds which can best by accomplished by permitting Southwest <br />Securities, Inc. which acts as the financial adviser for the <br />City of Paris in connection with such bonds to submit a <br />competitive bid for such bonds either individually or as a <br />member of a syndicate organized to submit a bid for such <br />bonds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such permission can best by given by executing <br />the Consent Agreement in the form of Exhibit A attached <br />hereto; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />that the mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and <br />he is hereby authorized and directed to on behalf of the City <br />of Paris execute the Consent Agreement in the form of <br />Exhibit A attached hereto consenting to the submission of a <br />competitive bid by Southwest Securities, Inc. either <br />individually or as a member of a syndicate organized to <br />submit a bid for the City's $9,700,000 Waterworks and Sewer <br />System Revenue Bonds, Series 1992. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />org isher, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Mattie Cunningham, <br />
