CI1Y OF PARIS, TEXAS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE CI'IY OF PARIS, TEXAS WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1992, IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $9,700,000 Notice is hereby given in accordance with Article 2368a, V.A T.C.S. that the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, intends to pass at a Special Meeting to be held at 6:00 P.M., on March 30, 1992, at City Council meeting room of the City Hall, in Paris, Texas, an Ordinance authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of an issue of bonds to be designated as "City of Paris, Texas Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1992", in the maximum principal amount not to exceed $9,700,000, to be payable from, together with other revenue bonds, and secured by a first lien on and pledge of the Net Revenues of the City's Waterworks and Sewer System, all as will be further descnoed, defined and provided in the aforesaid Ordinance. Said bonds will bear interest from their date at a maximum rate not to exceed 15% per annum, being the maximum permitted by Article 717k-2, V.A T.C.S., and will be scheduled to mature serially within a maximum of not to exceed 40 years from their date, and will be subject to redemption prior to maturity, and will have such other and further characteristics as will be provided in the aforesaid Ordinance. Said bonds will be authorized, issued, sold and delivered pursuant to Articles 1111 through 1118, V.A T.C.S., and other applicable laws, for the purpose of providing money for improvements and extensions to the Waterworks and Sewer System of the City of Paris, Texas.
