<br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-007 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS TO BE HELD ON THE FIRST <br />SATURDAY IN MAY, 1992, SAME BEING THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1992, <br />BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 O'CLOCK A.M. AND 7:00 O'CLOCK P.M., <br />BY THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF DISTRICTS 1, 2, 3 AND 6 OF THE <br />CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, WITH EARLY VOTING FOR THE SAME <br />BEING CONDUCTED IN THE CITY HALL ANNEX WEST, FROM THE 13TH <br />DAY OF APRIL, 1992, THROUGH THE 28TH DAY OF APRIL, 1992, <br />MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 O'CLOCK A.M. <br />AND 5:00 O'CLOCK P.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE <br />COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM EACH OF SAID DISTRICTS TO SERVE AS <br />MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE ENSUING TWO YEARS. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That a regular municipal election for the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be held by the qualified voters <br />of Districts 1, 2, 3 and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, on the first Saturday in May, 1992, same being the 2nd <br />day of May, 1992, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and <br />7:00 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of electing four (4) <br />members of the City Council of the City of Paris for two year <br />terms, as follows: <br /> <br />One Council Member from District One (1) <br />One Council Member from District Two (2) <br />One Council Member from District Three (3) <br />One Council Member from District Six (6) <br /> <br />as provided in Paragraphs 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 of Order entered <br />March 15, 1976, in Civil Action No. P-75-3-CA, in the <br />District Court of the United States for the Eastern District <br />of Texas, Paris Division, and as provided in the Charter of <br />the City of Paris and the laws of the State of Texas wherein <br />they do not conflict with said Order. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the polling places and election <br />officials of such election shall be as follows: <br /> <br />District One (1): <br /> <br />Polling Place: T. G. Givens School <br />655 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive <br /> <br />Officials: <br /> <br />~h Rodgers, Presiding Judge <br />Clabon Steward, Alternate Presiding Judge <br /> <br />District Two (2): <br /> <br />Polling Place: City of Paris Public Works Building <br />50 W. Hickory <br /> <br />Officials: Edith Bills, Presiding Judge <br />Veola Bradford, Alternate Presiding Judge <br />
