RESOLUTION NO. 92-099 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 92-026 authorize an application to be made to the U. S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration for a grant to fund a portion of the cost of a Raw Water Transmission Main between Pat Mayse Lake and City of Paris Water Treatment Plant under the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, as amended; and, WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration has issued its Financial Assistance Award number 08-01-02814 for construction of a 36-inch raw water transmission main from Pat Mayse Lake to the City's water treatment plant for the year beginning May 1, 1992, ending 30 months after approval, in the total amount of $1,500,000 requiring matching contribution of $3,550,000; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that the City of Paris accept said Grant Award and continue to improve the water facilities in the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the acceptance of the Financial Assistance Award from the Economic Development Administration in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby ratified and the form of such award is approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the execution of the Financial Assistance Award attached hereto as Exhibit A by the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
