Paris—Lamar County Health District <br />400 West Sherman Street, Paris, Texas 75460-5646 <br />Health District: (903) 785-4561 and Fax: (903) 737-0978 <br />Women, Infant and Children (WIC): (903) 784-1411 and Fax: (903) 784-1442 <br />_m,,,,,_ rhealth.com <br />www.�ua,,rls,,,,am,a <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held a regular meeting on Monday, October 21St, 2019. <br />Dr. Salzman called the meeting to order in open session at 5:33 p.m. <br />Board members in attendance were Susan Bellene, Dr. Eric Salzman, Nancy Stallings, Connie Stauter and <br />Dr. Marc White. <br />Also in attendance were Mrs. Gina Prestridge and Cheryl King. <br />Members not in attendance were Dr. Jay Carpenter and Dr. Ross Williams. <br />Mrs. Prestridge informed the members WIC had a couple of findings on a recent audit where a computer was <br />not logged off when the employee got up and also an error in the % of milk given out. <br />Mrs. Prestridge informed the members of four new employees that were recently hired. Yessenia Aguinaga <br />as a clerical translator, Rhonda Brown to fill the Texas Healthy Community Grant vacancy, and Kathy Ward <br />and Kayleigh Johnson as two Community Health Educators. <br />Mrs. Stauter made the motion and was seconded by Mrs. Stallings to elect Dr. Mark White as Chairman. <br />Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mrs. Stauter made the motion and was seconded by Mrs. Stallings to elect Dr. Eric Salzman as Vice - <br />Chairman. <br />Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mrs. Stallings made the motion and was seconded by Dr. White to elect Mrs. Stauter as Secretary. <br />Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Ms. Prestridge advised the board on the following monthly report(s): <br />October reports — <br />o WIC served 1,179 plus <br />o WIC had 99 drive-thru clients <br />o Health District served 629 clinical clients <br />o Health District Issued 46 restaurant permits and 3 complaints <br />o Health District Issued 7 septic permits and 1 complaints <br />o Reported 0 rabies cases. <br />Total liability and equity is approximately $1,534,000. <br />Dr. Salzman made the motion and was seconded by Mrs. Stallings for the meeting to be adjourned at 5:45 <br />p.m. Motion carried. 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Paris - Lamar County Board of Health Members <br />Chairman - Vice -Chairman - Secretary - <br />Dr Eric Salzman au:o) Connie Stauter non) Dr. Ross Williams rmzn, <br />Dr. Jay Carpenter ami) Nancy Stallings,. --1) <br />Dr. Marc WhiteSusan Bellene Ron) <br />
