f - ` <br />1 RESOLUTION ' PARIS, <br />.; a <br />R y <br />' rig• 1� � - #•- •• - • • <br />• •. r. • rr• .•. r r rrr •• <br />r •adoption; anr <br />illi:• w • r • t r; - •�; <br />• r <br />AS, the City Council last adopted Criteria and Guidelines for Tax Abatement on <br />January 11, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, after considering public comment, if any, at said public hearing, the City Council <br />of the City of Paris, Texas hereby reaffirms its intent to be eligible to participate in property tax <br />abatements in accordance with Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code and to adopt the Guidelines and <br />Criteria for Tax Abatement attached hereto and incorporated herein as ft • and <br />WHEREAS, a three-quarters majority vote of the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas is <br />required to amend the Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council elects to readopt the Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatement <br />adopted on January 11, 2018 without amendment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, THAT: <br />Section 1. The findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things <br />approved. <br />Section 2. The City hereby elects to be eligible to participate in a property tax abatement <br />program and approves and adopts the Guidelines and Criteria for Tax Abatement attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein asit <br />:Fecr"o w 3.
