Paris Visitors & Convention Council Board of Directors <br />November 18, 2019 <br />Members Present: Dustin Broadway, Casey Ressler, Bryan Hargis, Renee Harvey, Brittney Keys, Lea Emerson, Trey Glascock, <br />Bryan Glass, Tony Corso, Jeff Nutt, Mark Pankaj and Chadlee Johnston. <br />Staff Present: Becky Semple, Gina Crawford and Paul Allen. <br />Paul Allen called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />Minutes: A motion to approve October minutes was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by Dustin Broadway. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Financials were presented by Bryan Glass. A motion to approve financials was made by Dustin Broadway, seconded by Tony <br />Corso. Motion passed unanimously. Becky Semple stated that we received the hot tax check and it was $225k, the biggest <br />check we have ever received <br />New Business: Becky Semple presented funding request for the PHS Annual Basketball tournament on December 26-28, 2019 <br />Based on scoring criteria the amount recommended was $2418.00. A motion to approve $2418.00 was made by Bryan Hargis, <br />seconded by Dustin Broadway. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Directors Report: Becky Semple stated that at the last meeting we funded Texas State Teacher Association the amount of <br />$1850.00. They informed us that they would not have as many heads in beds and due to the funding policy, we will only award <br />them $1500.00. A motion to approve $1500.00 was made by Casey Ressler, seconded by Mihir Pankaj. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Paul Allen stated that we are working with ASA to have an indoor archery shoot at North Lamar. He also stated that the new <br />entrance signs will start going up on Wednesday and the videos will start next week. <br />Bryan Hargis stated that we were able to obtain TMBRA race event Labor Day weekend, 2020 at Barber Hills.
