HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING <br />100 GEORGE WRIGHT HOMES <br />MINUTES OF December 17, 2019 <br />Present at the Meeting: <br />Gary Savage — Chairman of the Board of Commissioners <br />Dewayne Dangerfield — Commissioner of the Board of Commissioners <br />T. K. Haynes — Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners <br />Sally Ruthart — Executive Director <br />Kim Snow — Housing Inspector <br />Patricia Pridemore — Program Manager <br />1. Meeting Called to order at 12:35 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 by Chairman of the <br />Board of Commissioners, Gary Savage. <br />2. Having three Board Members present, a quorum, Mr. Savage thanked and welcomed everyone <br />to the meeting. <br />3. Citizens' Forum Opened and closed with no one present to speak. <br />4. Minutes from the September 17, 2019 Meeting <br />Minutes were approved with a motion made by Mr. Haynes and seconded by Mr. Dangerfield. <br />Passed 3-0. <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: NONE <br />6. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a. Occupancy Report on Public Housing and Section 8 was given to the Board <br />b. Financial Report was discussed and reported to the Board with bank statements and graphs for <br />PH and Section 8. Mrs. Ruthart told the Board that the audit had been done but the report was not <br />completed. There were no findings. <br />c. Mrs. Ruthart reported to the Board that the HUD/REAC Inspection was done on August 21, <br />2019 and that the PHA received the score of 87 which was 24 points better than 2018 REAC <br />Inspection. <br />d. Mrs. Ruthart reported to the Board of the PHAS Score which was 84 for FYE 06/30/2019. This <br />score was up 7 points from FYE 06/30/2018. <br />e. Mrs. Ruthart reported that the Off -Duty Officers that are patrolling the George Wright <br />Complex are now sending reports of their patrol every Monday morning. <br />f. Electric/Oncor issues were reported to the Board of Commissioners. <br />g. Damage to 1405 Neathery during a recent windstorm was reported to the Board. <br />h. Absences of employees due to medical issues were reported to the Board and explained that it <br />has been a rough year but with all the employees help the PHA held up well as reflected by recent <br />scores. <br />i. Longevity bonuses for employees — Motion was made by Mr. Haynes to choose Option 1 and <br />this was seconded by Mr. Dangerfield. Passed 3-0. <br />7. RESOLUTIONS: NO RESOLUTIONS. <br />
