Minutes .ofmthe Main Street Advisory Board <br />Tuesda .Lanu 14,.,2020 <br />4:30P.M. <br />Present: Absent: <br />Glee Eremite, Chair John Brazile <br />William Walker, Vice Chair <br />Carolyn Patterson, Secretary <br />Laurie Redus <br />Kari Daniel <br />Kaydee Tate <br />Cheri Bedford, Program Coordinator <br />Paula Portugal, Council Liaison <br />1. Glee Emmite called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m. <br />2. During Citizens Forum, Cheri introduced the recently assigned City Council liaison, Mrs. Paula Portugal. <br />Mrs. Portugal had introduced herself to the members prior to the meeting. <br />3. A motion to approve the minutes of the November 2019 meeting was made by William Walker, seconded <br />by Laurie Redus, motion carried. <br />4. Board Member Activity Report <br />Glee Emmite gave a brief design report about the Dr. Pepper mural and potential partnership on an event <br />for unveiling the new mural. <br />John Brazile was absent -There will be a promotions meeting following the board meeting. <br />Will Walker is working on the Downtown Map. Has some questions on some of the properties. He will be <br />in touch with Cheri for direction and clarification. <br />Laurie Redus is organizing the sign -up -genius for Wine Fest and will make it go live after the review by <br />Cheri Bedford. She will send thank you notes to those who help with the event. <br />Karen from the Chamber of Commerce gave information on the indoor archery tournament starting on <br />January 31, 2020 at North Lamar High School. <br />5. Cheri reviewed the National Accreditation survey for the Paris Main Street Project with the board that was <br />sent to the Texas Main Street Program in December 2019. She will send a copy of the report to the Paris <br />Main Street Advisory Board members following the meeting. <br />6.
