REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12 2020 <br />...... ........... . ......... .... . ....... -V� <br />Present: Absent <br />Chris Dux, Chairman Linda Knox, Council liaison <br />Matt Coyle, Vice Chair <br />Randy Hider, Secretary Guests: <br />Glee Emmite Guy & Stacy England, owners of Redell Glass <br />Linda Vandiver Shop. <br />Mike Lazar <br />Laura Caffey <br />Commissioner Dux called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br />The January 8, 2020 minutes were approved by acclamation. <br />The commission reviewed the list of structures with Code Enforcement violations located at <br />142 W Plum, B. 921 E Houston, C. 235 NE 8"', D. 447 NE 8 1h , E. 702 E Booth, F. 800 BLK of SE 38"', G. <br />1011 Church, H.845 E Washington, 1. 628 SE 6 J. 1324 Margaret, K. 2004 Cleveland, L. 404 SW 3 rd . A <br />motion was made by CommissionerIlider determining these structures cannot be rehabilitated and <br />designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as <br />historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Cheri Bedford gave an update on the up and coming free educational Window Workshop on March 14, <br />2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.rn. An informational invite is prepared and ready for mail out to Church St <br />Historic District residents. Commissioner Dux suggested that all contractors registered with the City of Pa <br />be sent a mail out. <br />Cheri also reported on the City Hall centennial celebration and the Imagine the Possibilities tours schedule <br />for May 9, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. More details to follow, I <br />I ; <br />I <br />items, Commissioner Dux called for a motion to adjourn at 4:19 p.m. Motion carried. <br />N= <br />
