MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />April 13, 2020 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />April 13, 2020, by video conference. <br />Present: Mayor: Steve Clifford <br />Council Members: Paula Portugal; Renae Stone; Derrick Hughes; <br />Linda Knox; and Clayton Pilgrim <br />City Staff: Gene Anderson, Interim City Manager/Finance <br />Director; Stephanie Harris, City Attorney; Janice <br />Ellis, City Clerk; Bob Hundley, Police Chief; Doug <br />Harris, Public Utilities Director; Kent Klinkerman, <br />EMS Director; Thomas McMonigle, Interim Fire <br />Chief; ,Carla Easton, City Engineer; and Clyde <br />Crews, Fire Marshal <br />Opening A enda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Clifford called the meeting to corder at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Interim City Manager Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Portugal led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' forum. <br />No one spoke during citizens' forum. Mayor Clifford asked City Clerk Janice Ellis if she <br />had received any e-mails for the forum. Ms. Ellis said the only e-mail she received pertained to <br />item 22. <br />Consent A Benda <br />Mayor Clifford inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items from the <br />consent agenda for discussion. There being none, a Motion to approve the consent agenda was <br />made by Council Member Pilgrim, and seconded by Council Member Portugal. Motion carried, <br />7 ayes — 0 nays. <br />
