<br />"THINK CHILD SAFETY" MANAGEMENT CONTRACT <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />THAT, the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal <br />corporation, acting by and through its Mayor, George Fisher, <br />duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY and Stewart F. <br />Dodson hereinafter called DODSON, do hereby contract and <br />agree as follows: <br />1. DODSON hereby gives, grants and conveys any and all <br />interest in and to the "Think Child Safety" program to the <br />CITY. <br />2. CITY agrees to hire and DODSON agrees to be hired <br />to manage the "Think Child Safety" program for the CITY. <br />Such management would be conducted by DODSON in such a manner <br />as not to interfere with his ordinary duties as a member of <br />the City of Paris' Emergency Medical Services Department. <br />3. CITY agrees to pay all cost of procuring trade mark <br />for "Think Child Safety". <br />4. CITY agrees to pay DODSON for management and <br />promotion of the "Think Child Safety" program throughout the <br />United States, 50% of the net profit from said program. <br />5. All expenditures for copyright, promoting and <br />operating the "Think Child Safety" program shall be approved, <br />jointly by the Ci ty Manager of the City of Paris and the <br />Director of Finance of the City of Paris. The Director of <br />Finance is designated the financial officer for said program <br />which shall be maintained as an enterprise fund of the City <br />of Paris. <br />
