There were no comments or corrections. Mr. <br />Pankaj made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Ms. Bills seconded the motion. Vote was 5 -ayes to <br />0 -nays. <br />Discuss andossibl a rove A aril 2020 Financials. <br />Mr. Pankaj highlighted some of the major expenses. The PACE Group was paid $5,000.00 as part of the <br />executive director search. There will be another payment to them in May. Under the New Industry Projects <br />we spent a total of $62,794.41. GHD Services was paid $45,769.41 as part of the American project. <br />$17,025.00 was paid for Land Development costs which are mainly clearing brush from PEDC properties. <br />Chairman Hernandez stated that the large amount for GHD Services was actually for more than one month of <br />billing. Ms. Bills made a motion to approve the April 2020 financials. Mr. Hamill seconded the motion. Vote <br />was 5 -ayes to 0 -nays. <br />Proect Updates: <br />J. Skinner Bakery — this project is progressing well. The final rail agreement was <br />completed and the work will be starting soon. <br />Lionshead Specialty Wheel — Mr. Pankaj commented that we are still working closely <br />with them. <br />American SpiralWeld Pipe Environmental — everything is completed with the well and <br />a final approval was given by GHD. Mr. Stout said that we are waiting on TECQ <br />instructions on submitting the information. The testing is complete and we are in the <br />paperwork stage. <br />Convene into Executive Session: <br />1) Pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to discuss and deliberate the <br />purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. <br />2) Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to (1) discuss or deliberate <br />regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received <br />from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or <br />expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the <br />governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or (2) to <br />deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect described by <br />Subdivision (1), to wit: <br />• Project Rainwater Falls <br />• J Skinner Bakery <br />• Turner Industries <br />
